REQUIRED FIELD

The trigger question is the question that will determine if a loop is to be added to the survey response. There are currently 6 types of questions that can trigger loops.

Choose One Answer and Single Answer Menu questions can trigger a numbered reverse loop. In a numbered reverse loop, the questions will always be shown once, and then if the trigger answer is selected for the trigger question (which appears at the end of the loop), the set of looped questions may be inserted after the trigger and taken again. The loop will continue until the trigger answer is not selected at the end of the loop.

Choose Multiple Answers and Multiple Answer Menu questions can trigger a named forward loop, where the trigger question appears at the start of the loop. In a named forward loop, the loop will be repeated for each trigger answer that is selected for the trigger question.

Single Text Field and Text Field List questions can trigger a numbered forward loop, where the trigger question appears at the start of the loop. The user will be required to enter a valid number into the trigger answer and the loop will be repeated that many times.
