Quick overview of how Template Toolkit works
This tutorial is by no means a comprehensive tutorial of Template-Toolkit. To keep this tutorial short, we will refer to Template Toolkit as just TT from here on out. This tutorial was written for people with a limited understanding of some basic programming, and designed to allow a quick brush up on the basics of TT. After having read the tutorial, if you feel you still lack a solid understanding, or you wish to look up on some specifics of TT, simply go to the Template-Toolkit Website and view their documents and reference.
Here is how TT works generally: You embed TT code into normal text, and then the TT engine will parse, run and execute the TT code. Then the final product of just normal text will be returned by the TT engine, so ultimately a string or text will be returned.
