Checking the option to allow respondents to modify their survey response after completion will allow the respondent to change their previous survey entry after it has been submitted as complete. They can do this by returning to the original survey URL (if cookies were enabled) or returning to their response specific link. They may also be presented an Edit Response link if multiple submissions are allowed or during custom completion behavior.

If you select this option and multiple responses are allowed by the same respondent, an additional section Customize Template Appearance for Response Management will appear. This section allows you to customize the appearance of the page that will allow the respondent to select from their completed responses or start a new one.

Please note that response modification is different from the feature of allowing respondents to come back to an incomplete survey (which is enabled by default).
