REQUIRED FIELD

The ranking scale determines what values the survey respondent can enter for the ranks. A common ranking system may ask the respondent to rank five items from 1 through 5, with 1 being the most important. Simply set the range to go from 1 to 5 with the increment set to 1. Whether the ranking of 1 is the most important or the ranking of 5 is the most important in this example is irrelevant for the scale. The range of ranks can also be negative numbers, or even decimal numbers. For example, you can have a range of numbers from -1.5 to 1.5 with the increment of 0.1.
