By default, the answer fields are empty fields when the survey respondent encounters this question. Use this field to specify the default number. The number can be a negative number or even a decimal number, but please be advised that the number should be a valid number within your Ranking Scale.

Template-Toolkit Capable

You can utilize Template-Toolkit tags in this field. You can embed template variables into the field content. See an example of how one would use template tags within answer choice text:
