You can utilize Template-Toolkit tags in this field. You can embed template variables into the field content. See an example of how one would use template tags within answer choice text:

[% IF survey.time <= '12:00:00' %]
  morning
[% ELSIF survey.time <= '05:00:00' %]
  afternoon
[% ELSE %]
  evening
[% END %]
