The Action field controls whether or not the conditions you have created will cause the current question to be shown or hidden. It is generally best to create your conditions so that you can set Action to hide the question. This will create a more consistent status bar and survey taking experience for your visitors. The potential options are:
[edit] HIDE Question or Content When Above Conditions Are Satisfied
By selecting the "HIDE" option for Action the question will only be hidden when the conditions defined under field Conditions meet the requirements of Matching. This is the default selection and should be used unless you have a specific reason to select the "SHOW" option and understand the potential pitfalls.
[edit] SHOW Question or Content When Above Conditions Are Satisfied
Selecting this option will cause your question to be shown only when the conditions defined under field Conditions meet the requirements of Matching. You should only select this option if you have a specific reason to do so (cannot let respondents know questions are being skipped) and understand the potential pitfalls.
